What an exciting ride! Thank you! We hope you have enjoyed this campaign as much as we did because we want our Kickstarters to be as enjoyable as the actual project created.
This has not been a 1-month campaign but a 2-month; many of you were on the first campaign to remember it back in November. There was room for improvement and we are always open for it so after hearing backers suggestions, we rebooted and Wow! We only dreamt with a result off-the charts with 1000 backers on the chicken army but ... Wow! 2541backers?! You are the best!
You unlocked all our planned base leaders; then all our planned stretch goals; after that we heard your suggestions to introduce the Stretch goals you were asking for; now you are having a community-created chicken leader; 26 stretch goals achieved! The Cluckthulhu expansion was born from your petitions; all social goals were completed and the comment section was alive with your voices.
THANK YOU! Really, thank you, not for your pledge or the amount of it. No. We are saying Thank you for sharing the enthusiasm towards War for Chicken Island. Thank you for believing in us and being here. We will work everyday for each and all of you. We will provide an enjoyable experience along the ride and a top quality game.

We believe the best Kickstarter projects are born when creators and backers work together to make the product the best it can be. So we heard opinions from the Cluckthulhu model and made some improvements for it.
Rodrigo Aldana is the sculptor from Gnomosapiens who created all the miniatures for the game (revised by Heriberto Valle from Märchen Atelier/Draco Studios). He has been present in the comments section but he send us a message when he sent the image:
"Please let the backers know that I sculpted Cluckthulhu with passion and love for them"

Originally our plan was to sculpt and include a miniature on the Cluckthulhu add-on even though tooling would result more expensive. We are not able to offer to unlock this BUT after brainstorming one final gift to you, we decided that we are able to offer Egg-Sothoth as a scenario for the Cluckthulhu Cooperative gameplay variant. So, we will have Egg-Sothoth fully illustrated and its components (cards/tiles) will be included on the Cluckthulhu Kickstarter Exclusive limited add-on for an extra challenge.
Detestable Games is working on the cooperative gameplay mode so we will ask them to make something extra appealing with the Egg-Sothoth scenario.
Let us know your preference between Egg-Sothoth or Yolk-Sothoth as both were names suggested by backers.
As stated before, the tally of your votes for the new chicken leader has finished and here are the results:
The finalists are Terminator chicken, Floating Egg, and Chicken Hydra. The next round of voting will be held on your pledge manager survey (more about that below).
You are more than welcome to suggest names or ideas for their leader ability.

We will include the question for the new chicken leader between the finalists, this is to ensure everyone gets the chance to vote and do it once.
Cluckthulhu add-on will be available only during the first month while the pledge manager goes live. (In other words, from late January to late February).
This is not official yet but we are trying to include some extra items for your copies such as card sleeves, colored snap bases for miniatures, digital artbook and a mysterious wisdom egg.

This morning we woke up with a huge surprise of a new momentum rush and 150 extra chickens joining to the army! Welcome!

Debido a que la anterior transmisión de juego tuvo un error, iremos al aire en 30 minutos (19:00 hrs PST) para tener la revancha entre William y Pamela. La primera vez ganó William y la segunda Pamela, esta vez ambos están listos para liderar a su ejército de pollos hacia la gran victoria y el perdedor tendrá que _______ (estamos aceptando sugerencias para el castigo que tendrá que cumplir el jugador que pierda).
Bwök! Bwök! At last! After millennia of slumber (some weeks since we launched the campaign) some chicken cultists in the campaign tried to summon Cluckthulhu and it is now here. 100% created for backers and ignited from your ideas.
You are not just getting a 80mm tall miniature; we are also bringing a new game mode: Co-operative (including alternate solo mode).
Cluckthulhu will come with its own set of cards with a special background (cultist chicken), its unit card and sculpted in a 50mm base that plays from outside of the island. This miniature will ONLY be available during the first month while the pledge manager (Backerkit) is live and the print run will be exclusive for backers who confirm their survey and add Cluckthulhu to their order during the first month.
While it is still a work in progress, the time has come to unveil it:

And still, all backers will get stl files for personal use for FREE in case you prefer to 3D print it at you local workshop. Cards and rules needed for its Cooperative game mode will be provided for print and play as well at no cost.

You have nearly unlocked the Big Box! Now, the next stretch goal was also a petition from backers. At the pledge manager we will likely have snap bases and card sleeves ready but having small chicken pilot markers was a very good idea, so we talked with our manufacturer and they loved it too.

During the past 3 livestreams with Ivan and William, backers suggested ideas for the new chicken leader miniature. A total of 34 chickens were created and we tried to please the most backers and petitions possible, a lot of the characters were highly requested and maybe now it is enough to see the chickenization of those characters as drawings; we want you to keep in mind that your vote will define a Kickstarter Exclusive unique gift, abilities, name and feel will be developed after a winner is elected.
This will be the first round and you can vote for as many characters as you like; tally will begin once the campaign ends and after that, the second round will begin just for the TOP 3 chickens.
This is a backer-exclusive feature so please don't share the link outside. (Try inviting your friends to pledge instead)
As a final note, all chickens here were inspired by other real or fictional characters but they are not intended to be confused with the originals. The use of these are only for parody and the final miniature will be a free gift to you, our backers for all your support.

¡Cu-coo! Por fin, después de milenios durmiendo (unas semanas desde que lanzamos la campaña) algunos pollos intentaron invocar a Cluckthulhu y ahora está aquí. Creado 100% para ustedes los patrocinadores y siendo una idea suya.
No sólo se trata de una miniatura de 80mm de alto; también les traemos un nuevo modo de juego: Cooperativo (incluido modo solitario alterno).
Cluckthulhu llega con su propio set de cartas con un arte trasero especial (pollo cultista) su carta de unidad y esculpido en una base de 50mm para que sea jugado desde afuera de la isla. Esta miniatura sólo se podrá obtener de manera muy limitada durante el primer mes en que el administrador de recompensas esté activo para aquellos patrocinadores que completen su encuesta durante este lapso de tiempo y la agreguen a su pedido.
Aunque aún es un trabajo en progreso, ha llegado el momento de revelarlo:

E incluso, todos los patrocinadores obtendrán los archivos STL para uso personal de manera gratuita en caso de que prefieran imprimirlo en 3D en su taller local. Las cartas y reglas para el modo cooperativo también se enviarán para que puedan imprimir y jugar sin ningún costo extra.

Ya casi alcanzan la meta de la caja grande, la siguiente también fue una petición de patrocinadores. En el administrador de recompensas seguramente también pondremos a su disposición bases de colores y micas para cartas pero la idea de tener pequeños pollos pilotos para marcar la pertenencia de las unidades construidas fue muy atractiva también así que hablamos con nuestro manufacturador y le encantó la idea también.
Nótese que estos componentes también serán exclusivos de las copias Kickstarter. Compartan las noticias ya que la campaña está por terminar.
Durante las 3 transmisiones pasadas con Iván y William, los patrocinadores han sugerido ideas por un nuevo líder pollo. En total se crearon 34 pollos y procuramos satisfacer la mayor cantidad de peticiones y de patrocinadores que nos fue posible. Muchas personajes fueron solicitados altamente y quizá ahora es suficiente sólo con tener el dibujo de su pollización; queremos que mantengan en mente que su voto definirá al siguiente líder exclusivo de Kickstarter, cuyas habilidades y nombre será desarrollado después de que se elija al ganador.
Ésta es la primera ronda y puedes votar por tantos personajes como gustes; el conteo se llevará a cabo una vez que termine la campaña y empezará la segunda ronda con los 3 pollos más elegidos.
