Have you ever felt the rush of sending a present, postcard, or a letter to someone you really appreciate? Well, we're feeling kind of that way: we have been going through really exciting and crazy days, and we are really thankful for all your support and patience during this time.

As we have mentioned in past updates, we want to keep you informed about every step we take, and here we are: counting down days to get to you in the shape of a box and this will be a day to be remembered!

US & Canada - Already started!
We held our breath and excitedly realized that Gamerati took us by storm and started to ship games some days in advance before we even noticed (thanks friends from Gamerati!), which is great because some of you, warriors from the Chicken army, have received your game already! That drove us crazy we cheered and celebrated with all our team members!
Since the fulfillment hub for North America is in Washington, the USA orders from the states near Washington area are arriving first but we can tell: if you have not received your War for Chicken Island copy yet, you can be sure that day is getting closer! You will get Tracking info in your emails soon!
Asia & Australia - About to start!
Our Chicken leaders and armies are on their way to conquer and spread all over the world, not just one island, but all continents and islands! Status of this mission: our designated fulfillment partner VFI ASIA has received War for Chicken Island copies, and already passed through the process of Pick and Packing, which lead us to the next step: fulfillment!
By the end of the week, VFI Asia will start to ship all the copies and, within a few days (7 days) you will receive your tracking number! For Australia, they will send to Aetherworks first so you those parcels are free of duties and additional charges.
Soon, you will have hands-on our feathered-fellows!
Mexico & UK - Arrived to port!
Cargoes for Mexico and for the United Kingdom have finally arrived to the ports, from there, they will be sent to Detestable Games in Mexico and Board Game Guru in the UK. After that moment, partners will start with the pre-shipping process: Pick and packing. The next step will be to drop in the mailbox your War for Chicken Island's copies to you!
This means you will receive your tracking number and we wish the process could be faster, but please note that it might take about two weeks before receiving it.
Once we finish with Pick and pack, you will have a loyal Chicken Army in your hands.
An ETA of receiving your game is by the end of November and beginning of December. Just a little while longer, thanks for your patience!
Europe & Rest of the World - Arrived to fulfillment hub!
Our designated fulfillment partner, Happyshops, is in charge of fulfillment in Europe and the rest of the countries not covered by our other fulfillment partners. They are also spreading our armies to every other region of the world!
This cargo has arrived and currently, War for Chicken Island's copies are at their warehouse. Our project is on queue and Happyshops will start pick and packing next week so you can expect tracking numbers within the next 2 weeks.
How to store safely your game
Let's go back to a serious matter: how to store everything inside of your big box? Including expansions.
We have shared in one of our previous updates how to keep safe all your elements inside of your big box.
Now that you will finally get the game in your hands, here's a friendly reminder of how to do it.
We are happy to know you will be receiving your games, but sometimes, there can be some mistakes during the factory assembly or manufacture. While we expect this to be lower than 1% here's what to do in case you find yourself in this position.
In case of a replacement it's needed, you can always get directly in touch with us by sending a picture of the piece that requires to be replaced to [email protected]with the subject "Chicken replacement".
If it is a missing item instead, just do the same but no picture is required.
If the replacement it's an add-on, please note that all extras are limited and while we have some additional copies for them, we have to finish fulfillment first before sending an add-on replacement.
Once we have completely fulfilled a region, we will proceed with the replacements for those regions.
Sea Rubber Playmats with cracks: It seems that during freight shipping, some playmats have a cracked mark beneath. We are reviewing with factory and freight to verify the reason and how best to proceed. We will keep you updated about this.

Si es una pieza faltante, no es requerida una fotografía (pero si el correo).

Great Wyrms of Drakha - LIVE
As you know, Draco Studios is a large team of tabletop enthusiasts working on separate projects. In addition to Creature Kingdoms universe (War for Chicken Island and Dodos Riding Dinos), we have a creative team working on Eldritch Century (cosmic horror sci-fi) and another on Dragonbond (fantasy).
Shortly after War for Chicken Island was funded, Dragons of the Red Moon launched and the demand for the miniatures was so high that we ended up with 5 production waves on resin-cast.
Now that Panda has finished working on War for Chicken Island, we decided to partner again with Pandato produce plastic version of these dragons at a very affordable cost to meet mass demand.
In addition, if you are into RPG, we are creating a book with 7 high-level adventures and encounters against the great wyrms using 5e. As well as illustrations and lore about Drakha, the red moon.

Great Wyrms of Drakha

We are veeeeery happy to inform you that last week, cargoes were collected by our freight partners to 7 different fulfillment centers and localization partners. Officially, this project has moved forward to the next stage FREIGHT shipping! Which is one step before fulfillment :D

This month, games will arrive to the distribution centers and we expect backers to start receiving their rewards at the end of the month with some over November. This makes us extremely happy, thanks for all your patience and support!

We also had a playthrough a couple of months ago but it took some time to edit properly and improve image. Of course, we will have some professional playthrough videos once games arrive but for now (and considering the current global situation) you can prepare yourself for battle in Chicken Island with this video.

First of all, we are extremely happy to inform you that War for Chicken Island is close to finishing manufacture and we are almost ready to ship to the distribution hubs.
Verify your shipping address - Locking addresses in 48hrs
Being so close to fulfillment we need you to make sure your shipping address is correct. In 48 hourswe will lock addresses and you won't be able to make any more changes.
Manufacture is scheduled to finish on September 15th.

The final version of the game
Last week we received the Mass Production Copy (MPC) in all the languages. If the PPC was already beautiful, the MPC feels and seems a lot better! Pictures don't make justice to that so you will have to trust us and feel with your own hands / look with your own eyes once you receive your games! Panda GM truly delivers top-quality games!
We have been sharing every exciting moment, those in which we have received the pre-production copies: from the wooden components to the cards, from the rubber mat to the card sleeves, and we are delighted to have shared this journey with you.
Producing this game was a great challenge but all the while, our fuel and motivation was the constant encouragement from the Chicken Army, we are thankful for your patience and support during all this process.

A wonderful box full of chicken surprises
This is how the game box looks like. It’s bigger than the original prototype, and feeling its texture is really satisfying. But what’s most impressive is what you will find inside.
Once you open your game, you will find the rulebook. In this case, we have the Spanish version of the rulebook.
The miniatures are protected, and you can store them after a battle for the Chicken Island, after a long game full of fun with your friends and family.
This special paper helps to protect the punchboards.
Tiles are here, and the fit perfectly!
We have showed this previously but all components including promos and stretch goals, plus sleeved cards fit in the box.
Make sure to keep the plastic inserts from your other rewards, they will help you store your minis safely and that way, the inserts won't be single-use plastic.

Versión final del juego
Finalmente, hemos recibido la copia de producción masiva en todos los idiomas. Ésta se siente y se ve aún mejor que la copia de Pre-producción. Las fotos no hacen justicia para demostrarlo pero sabemos que en cuanto reciban sus juegos podrán sentirlos y verlos para confirmarlo. ¡Panda GM en verdad produce con la mayor calidad!
Hemos estado compartiendo todos los momentos emocionantes con ustedes, desde el momento que hemos recibido las copias de pre-producción: desde los meeples hasta las tarjetas, desde el tablero de neopreno hasta los protectores de tarjetas, y desde el principio de todo.
Producir este juego ha sido bastante emocionante y retador pero cuando tienes un gran apoyo como el de nuestro ejército de pollos, también es muy motivador, estamos agradecidos por su paciencia y apoyo durante todo este proceso.

¿Están listos para volar sus plumas?
Así es como se ve la caja del juego. Es más grande que el primer prototipo y sentir su textura es realmente satisfactorio. Pero lo más emocionante se encuentra dentro de ella.
Una vez abierto el juego, encontrarás el manual de reglas. En este caso, tenemos la versión en español de las reglas del juego.
Las miniaturas están protegidas, y así es cómo se mantienen a salvo después de un largo juego lleno de aventura y diversión.
Este papel especial nos ayuda a proteger las tablas de ponchado con las fichas.
Las losetas encajan a la perfección.
La textura es suave, podemos apostar que te gustará.
Debajo de las losas lozas también encontrarás las cartas, los meeples y el espacio necesario para guardar las minis exclusivas de Kickstarter (las minis exclusivas vienen en otra caja). Estas vienen con un inserto de plástico que puedes trasladar directamente de su caja desechable hacia la caja del juego y te servirá para mantener las minis inmóviles y protegidas. Así le darás más uso al plástico de estos insertos e impedirás que sean de un solo uso.
Recuerda que estaremos bloqueando las direcciones en 48 hrs. Ayúdanos a confirmar la dirección de envío lo más pronto posible para que puedas recibir a tu emplumado ejército.

Hello Chicken Army!!
Last week, our manufacturer sent us the carton markings for review (these are the cardboard boxes where the games are packed from the factory to fulfillment houses) and while mass manufacture hasn't finished yet, it is very exciting for us to start preparations for fulfillment and feeling the next stage approaching.
The factory has been in touch with us for some minor details for assembly of the different items. They told us that we will receive pictures of the mass produced components soon.
Meanwhile, we want to share more pictures of the PreProduction Copy we have in our hands. We decided to paint some of the minis for the upcoming playthrough video. These are not professionally painted because they were painted by some members of our team, but we had a blast with these. We are sure you will love painting your chicken miniatures and machines!
In other news, last week, Itzel charged orders for the resin dice set and merged them with their respective original Backerkit survey so they are shipped together. For backers who added Cluckthulhu and Yolk-Sothoth, complimentary credit was allocated so shipping fee would only consider extra weight of these items and not full base shipping fee again.
As mentioned before uploading the Resin dice sets, these were extremely limited and they ran out 1 day before the deadline so we fell short for only a few. We have a couple of spare sets so we will let you all know at the end of fulfillment which items (including some last few resin dice sets) are available after we are done with replacements or missing orders.
Thank you all for your patience! We are excited to know we are moving forward and once we get pictures from the factory for the mass produced components, we will share those to you. We can't thank you enough for your support and patience on this complex project. It has been such a big learning experience and thanks to you, a fun one.

¡Hola Ejército de Pollos!
La semana pasada, nuestro fabricante nos envió las marcas de cartón para nuestra revisión (las cajas de cartón donde se empacan los juegos desde la fábrica hasta los centros de distribución) y aunque la producción masiva aún no ha terminado, es muy emocionante para nosotros comenzar los preparativos para la entrega de recompensas y sentir que ya se acerca la siguiente fase.
La fábrica se ha puesto en contacto con nosotros para revisar algunos detalles menores para el montaje y ensamble de los diferentes artículos. Nos dijeron que pronto recibiremos fotos de los componentes producidos en masa.
Mientras tanto, queremos compartir más fotos de la Copia de preproducción que tenemos en nuestras manos. Decidimos pintar algunas de las minis para el próximo video de juego que queremos compartir. Estos no están pintados profesionalmente porque fueron pintados por algunos miembros de nuestro equipo, pero nos divertimos mucho con ellos. ¡Estamos seguros de que te encantará pintar tus miniaturas de pollos y máquinas!
En otras noticias, la semana pasada, Itzel cobró pedidos por el set de dados de resina y combinó la orden con su respectiva encuesta original de Backerkit para que se envíen juntos con el resto de recompensas. Para los patrocinadores que agregaron Cluckthulhu y Yolk-Sothoth, se asignó crédito complementario, para que la tarifa de envío sólo considerara el peso adicional de estos artículos y no la tarifa de envío base completa nuevamente.

Tenemos un par de sets de repuesto, por lo que le informaremos al final de la entrega de recompensas qué artículos (incluidos algunos últimos juegos de dados de resina) están disponibles después de que hayamos terminado con los reemplazos o las órdenes faltantes.
